Grace Period, Redemption & Auction Charges

To avoid domain loss, please ensure timely renewals. If not renewed before expiry, the following charges apply:

  • Grace Period: PKR 2,000 additional

  • Redemption: PKR 40,000

  • Auction: May exceed USD 1,000+

Country & Regional Domains (.co.uk, .org.uk, .uk, .ca, .nl, .us)

  • Grace Period: PKR 2,000 additional

  • Redemption: PKR 25,000 – 30,000

  • Auction: Costs may reach USD 500 – 1,000

Pakistani Domains (.pk / .com.pk / .net.pk / .org.pk / .biz.pk)

  • Grace Period: PKR 2,000 additional

  • Redemption: PKR 15,000 – 20,000

  • Auction: Not applicable (PKNIC releases domains after redemption)

Special Pakistani Extensions (.edu.pk / .gov.pk)

  • Grace Period: PKR 2,000 additional

  • Redemption: PKR 10,000 – 15,000

  • Auction: Not applicable

  • Renewal before expiry avoids all extra charges.

  • Once a domain enters auction, recovery costs can be very high and are not guaranteed.
